The convention was a meaningful opportunity to learn from current developments in pediatric dentistry, reflect on effective practices, and look ahead to what can further improve care for children. Experiences like these continue to strengthen PDCP's commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based, and child-centered dental care.

As a proud private sector partner of the DOH, PDCP continues to support national efforts that promote preventive dental care and stronger public awareness. Initiatives such as /20 encourage Filipinos to maintain at least 20 healthy teeth by the age of 70, reinforcing the importance of lifelong oral health.

Through collaboration between government, healthcare professionals, and community partners, we move closer to a future where every Filipino can enjoy healthier smiles at every stage of life.

Hands-on training remains at the heart of the PEDOCOP Workshop. From oral examinations and preventive sealants to fluoride application, and restorative care, each session is designed to strengthen clinical confidence in managing young patients through real-world pediatric dental scenarios.

Guided by experienced consultants, the workshop allows participants to translate core concepts into practice while reinforcing preventive, patient-centered approaches that are essential in general pediatric dentistry. These carefully structured activities reflect PDCP's commitment to evidence-based care and practical learning.

National Dental Health Month is a timely reminder of the vital role dentists play in shaping lifelong oral health habits, especially in children. PEDOCOP Theory is an online short course in General Pediatric Dentistry designed to support dentists who want to deepen their understanding of pediatric care and strengthen their clinical approach to young patients.

With its flexible online format, dentists can learn at their own pace while building the knowledge and confidence needed to deliver safer, more effective pediatric dental care. Begin this month with purpose and take a step forward in caring for the next generation of smiles.

This initiative is open to children from nearby areas, giving young patients a gentle and welcoming introduction to dental care. Early visits help children feel more comfortable in the dental setting while allowing parents to better understand their child's oral health needs from the very start.

By encouraging early checkups, we hope to support families in building strong oral health habits that can last a lifetime. Because when dental care begins early, healthier smiles follow.

We stand one with the Philippine Pediatric Dental Society, Inc. (PPDSI) in supporting the Clean After Feeding campaign for National Oral Health Month. Promoting early oral care habits from infancy is a crucial step in preventing early childhood caries and building a strong foundation for lifelong oral health.

At PDCP, we echo this call to action by encouraging parents, caregivers, and communities to take simple, consistent steps that protect children's smiles from the very start. Together, we work toward the shared goal of ensuring every Filipino child grows up with healthy teeth, proper nutrition, and overall well-being.
