The Armed Forces of the Philippines Dental Service (AFPDS) formally turned over its award prize to the Educational Benefit System Office, AFP (EBSO, AFP) during the AFP Flag Raising Ceremony at the General Headquarters Canopy on August 3, 2026.
The prize money worth PhP100,000.00 was earned by the AFPDS after winning a gameshow during its founding anniversary celebration. It was donated to support educational assistance programs for AFP personnel and their dependents. The turnover also coincided with the recent founding anniversaries of the AFPDS and EBSO, AFP.
General Antonio G. Nafarrete PA, Chief of Staff, AFP presided over the ceremony. "What began as a simple Family Feud game became a source of hope for our personnel and their families. Success is sweeter when it is shared," he said.
The turnover reflects the AFP's commitment to the welfare of its personnel and their families by supporting education and strengthening unity across the organization.
