Controlling the spread of infectious diseases in healthcare facilities like our dental clinic is a serious concern not only to our patients but also to us, your healthcare workers as well. To minimize the spread of droplet/ airborne infections in our clinic, we should come up with a design with negative pressure differential which is generated and maintained by a ventilation system that removes more air from the operatory room than air is allowed into the room. With this in mind, i have asked the help of a mechanical engineer to come up with a design that will satisfy this purpose. Thank you, Engr. Lauren James S. Nidea, for helping us with the design.
Construction of the said ventilation system will start as soon as ECQ is lifted. Aside from this, we are also waiting for some much needed dental equipments and PPEs. And so, we are still in the process of complying with the requirements/ recommendations of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA). Please bear with us until we are truly ready to serve you again.
