Expander ng Uri ng Fan

Ang appliance na ito ay pangunahing ginagamit sa makitid, "V" na hugis na mga arko. Pinapalawak ng Fan Type Expander ang anterior section nang hindi lumilikha ng posterior cross bite. Ang appliance na ito ay ginagamit sa mabilis na maxillary disjunction. Ito ay nahati sa mid-palatine suture at pinalaki ang transversal diameter ng maxillary anterior arch, habang pinapanatili ang posterior transversal diameter na hindi nagbabago.
