TINY CUT, BIG CHANGES! ✨

For 16 years, his tongue had been constantly compensating for the way he breathed and ate. A tongue that keeps contracting can be a sign that the muscles are working overtime to adapt to these habits.

His therapist advised his legal guardian to have his tongue tie evaluated and released.

FROM:
• Unable to lick an ice cream 🍦
• Difficulty saying certain words and phrases
• Unable to move his tongue sideways on command
• Lips not in the proper position when swallowing
• Mouth open during sleep

TO:
• Able to click his tongue 👅
• Able to say “Thank you” without stuttering
• According to his legal guardian, he can now bite his tongue and maintain nasal breathing while sleeping

Small procedure. Big milestone. 💙

Sometimes, the gums can grow too much and cover part of the teeth. This can make teeth look smaller, make brushing more difficult, and allow plaque to build up more easily.
In our clinic, we dont just treat the teeth, we also take care of the gums!
