Orthodontics is a field of specialty in dentistry which deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth, jaw and bite movement. The treatment may take several months to a few years depending on the difficulty of the case; it involves the use of dental braces, and other mouth appliances to slowly move the teeth and the jaw.

These are actual photos of an on going case in the clinic being treated by our visiting clinical Orthodontist Dr. Muppet Caldoza. She is a Master in Science in Dentistry Major in Orthodontics at University of the East.

Resorption of tooth due to impacted 3rd molar is a physiological process which results in mineralized tissue loss of the 2nd molar. Mandibular 3rd molars are the most commonly impacted teeth. Owing to its proximity, distal root resorption of the mandibular 2nd molar may occur due to physiological forces generated during the eruptive phase of the impacted tooth.
To those patients with impacted 3rd molars
*SAVE YOUR 2ND MOLARS.
*HAVE YOUR IMPACTED 3RD MOLARS REMOVED before its too late.
