Clinical patience in action. 📈 Over the past four months (May to August; 1 tooth per month), our team successfully managed and completed a treatment of Strip Off Crown(SOC) for a 2-year-old patient without the use of sedation. We made it! 👏🤗 Slowly but surely! This milestone was made possible through consistent behavior guidance and an incredible partnership with the patient's parents, who remained calm and supportive throughout the journey. A massive thank you to the wonderful parents whose patience, positivity, and trust made all the difference. Teamwork truly makes the dream work! Building trust with our youngest patients takes time, but the reward is a lifetime of positive dental experiences. 🦷

Strip off crown (SOC) is a cosmetic and functional restoration option for damaged or decayed primary (baby) front teeth. The procedure involves using a clear, tooth-shaped acetate shell (the "strip") as a mold to shape and place a tooth-colored composite filling material. Once the composite hardens, the strip is removed (the “off), leaving behind a natural-looking, full-coverage restoration (the “crown). Strip off crowns are a good option for restoring the appearance and function of front teeth that are visible when a child smiles.

Advantages:
1. Provides a natural-looking, tooth-colored restoration, important for front teeth.
2. Protects the entire tooth from further decay.
3. Allows the child to bite and speak properly.
4. Generally requires less tooth reduction compared to stainless steel crowns.
5. Lasts until the primary tooth naturally exfoliates.
