FROM STUDENT TO SPEAKER . WHAT A FULL-CIRCLE MOMENT. 💙
Today, I had the privilege of coming back to Dominican College, not as a student this time, but as a dentist and speaker. 🥹
Standing in the same school where I once dreamed about my future, and now having the opportunity to talk to young students about career choices, purpose, and mental wellness, was truly special.
Dentistry wasn’t actually my first choice. It was a path my parents wanted for me. But along the way, I learned that sometimes, the path we start with can lead us to a purpose we never expected. 🦷✨
My message to the students today was simple:
You don’t have to have everything figured out right now.
Explore. Learn. Make mistakes. Take care of yourself. And when you finally choose your path, choose one that gives meaning to who you are not just one that looks good on paper.
Thank you, Dominican College, for welcoming me back and allowing me to share a little part of my journey. 💙
