Wisdom Tooth Removal with PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) 🦷
Every wisdom tooth case is different, which is why careful planning is essential. ✨
For this patient, we performed the surgical removal (odontectomy) of both impacted lower wisdom teeth ( #38 and #48).
Before the procedure, a CBCT (3D scan) was taken to carefully evaluate the position of the teeth and their relationship to the nearby nerve. This allows for safer and more precise treatment planning.
✨ What is PRF?
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is made from a small sample of the patient’s own blood. It is processed into a natural fibrin membrane rich in platelets and growth factors, then placed into the extraction site to support the body’s natural healing process.
