Sometimes when we feel pain,
our first instinct is to remove it.
Something quick. Something drastic.

But not everything that hurts needs to be taken away.

In dentistry, and even in life, what may seem beyond saving can still be restored with the right care.

Root canal therapy reminds us to slow down, to assess properly, and to give healing a chance.

As C. S. Lewis wrote in The Problem of Pain,
“Pain insists upon being attended to.”

And sometimes, when we attend to it well, we realize it was never meant to be removed, it was meant to be saved.
