It’s a !!!

The patient came to our clinic to just have her teeth aligned, not knowing that we could further improve her aesthetic look by doing a Crown Lengthening/ Gingivectomy procedure. Our patient was very happy with the result! ☺️

To end our night, this is to remind everyone who has braces, or are planning to have one, ORTHODONTIC BRACES are not just an accessory for your teeth, it is meant to correct its alignment and function. If we recommend other procedures such as tooth restoration, tooth extraction etc., as much as possible do it ASAP to avoid possible additional damage to your other tooth structures. 🙂

A case of a third molar/ wisdom tooth removal is seen in the picture below. This typically erupts at 17-25 years of age, and if left untreated this may cause pain or damage to its surrounding areas.

Have your teeth check before it is too late!

Note: Odontectomy means surgical removal of impacted tooth, so this does not only applies to third molars/wisdom tooth. :)
