OFFICIAL STATEMENT

We would like to address the recent post made in the Facebook group “Tubong Meycauayan” by a patient regarding an alleged incident at our clinic.

After a thorough investigation, including a review of CCTV recordings and statements from the on-duty dental staff and attending dentist, we have determined that the post contains misleading and inaccurate information.

Our CCTV records clearly show that before the consultation began, the ₱500 consultation fee was fully explained and agreed upon by the patient. It was also discussed that if the patient decided to proceed with dental treatment, the consultation fee would be waived, and only the treatment fee would apply.

However, after leaving the consultation area, the patient asked if there was any payment due, requested to pay only ₱300, and later stated, “Akala ko walang consultation fee,” which directly contradicts the prior discussion recorded on CCTV.

We would like to clarify that we are a private dental clinic operating as both a professional practice and a business. Like any legitimate healthcare facility, we incur operational expenses, including but not limited to rent, utilities, dental instruments, branded consumables, professional fees for dental associates and dental aides, and ongoing professional education. Our dentists are not limited to general practice; many are specialists in different fields and engage in continuous learning, which involves significant cost.

In response to claims such as “hair net lang nilagay ₱500 na,” we would like to clarify that PPE (personal protective equipment) for patients has been provided free of charge since 2024,(PPE 150php 2021-2023 ONLY) particularly in our Bulacan branch.

Spreading false or misleading information that harms the reputation of a business or professional may constitute defamation or cyber libel under applicable laws. Our clinic will not tolerate such actions and reserves the right to pursue legal remedies to protect our staff, dentists, and business.

We respectfully remind the public that treatment fees may vary on a case-to-case basis and are always discussed beforehand. Financial limitations should never be used to justify spreading misinformation or damaging the reputation of professionals and business owners who work diligently and ethically.

This statement is issued to correct misinformation and to protect the rights of our clinic and its professionals.
