3 years after removing my patient’s braces last 2023, apart from a small midline discrepancy, his canine relationships remain stable, still with a good overjet and overbite, and he maintains the wonderful smile we finished him with! 💜

Sammee’s aligner journey is coming along just fine, thank you! 😊

For now, Stage 5 of her clear aligners treatment is done and dusted , and so far, no complaints from her at all. They’re comfortable, she keeps to the required hours, as well as the care, cleanliness and storage reminders. Such a trooper, this girl!

Can’t wait for her progress in the next few months!

von Willebrand disease. Hashimoto’s disease. Asthma. Allergies. These are only some of my patient’s medical conditions.

Von Willebrand disease prevents the blood from clotting. Hashimoto’s disease is an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid gland.

My patient went through cellulitis of the lower left side of her face due to an infected third molar. And so she needed to have odontectomy or third molar surgery of said tooth.

However, due to her medical condition, she needed to be confined prior to her procedure so she could have frozen plasma transfused, to control the bleeding. After several bags, she developed an allergy to this which caused her itchiness, swollen eyes and coughing. Once controlled, she was transfused again. And yet another allergic episode happened.

Thankfully, on the 4th bag of frozen plasma transfusion, she was ready for her surgery in the office, IV attached to her hand. Everything went quickly and smoothly, with no surprise bleeding, and another molar was removed.

With a handful of prayers and a little bit of luck, she has gone on to make a full recovery.

Thank you for the trust 💜

Our dear transfer patient came from another dentist after several years of wearing braces. Her first premolars were extracted to move back her front teeth to lessen the protrusive look, but instead of that, her molars moved forward.

This led to a double bite wherein she had a gap between the upper and lower front teeth, and did not address her main concern of facial and dental protrusion.

Thankfully, we finally were able to give her a stable bite, lessened her complaint about the protrusion, and gave her a smile that lights up her pretty face. Thank you for the patience 💜.
