Formal Notice of Non-Compliance with Dental Law
Subject: Prohibition of Promotional Activities in Dental Clinics
This document serves as an official notice regarding continued non-compliance despite prior verbal warning and the issuance of this written notice.
Statement of Non-Compliance
The concerned party has failed to abide by the directive communicated verbally and reiterated through this notice. Specifically, the clinic has engaged in promotional activities that are strictly prohibited under the Philippine Dental Act of 2007 (Republic Act No. 9484) and the PRC Code of Ethics for Dentists.
Legal Basis

* Section 23 prohibits dentists and dental clinics from engaging in promotional schemes, advertisements, or inducements that mislead or exploit patients.
* Section 24 mandates adherence to professional conduct standards set by the PRC Board of Dentistry.
* PRC Code of Ethics for Dentists
* Dentists must avoid commercialism and cannot advertise services in a manner resembling retail promotions.
* Discounts, giveaways, or promotional campaigns are considered unethical and subject to disciplinary action.
Consequence of Continued Non-Compliance:
Should the concerned party persist in ignoring this directive despite the issuance of this notice, the matter will be escalated.
PDA Bulacan will report the violation directly to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for appropriate disciplinary action, which may include suspension or revocation of license.
Final Reminder
Compliance with Republic Act No. 9484 and the PRC Code of Ethics is mandatory. This notice serves as the final reminder before escalation to the PRC.
