Tonight’s challenge: watch without helping.
Ask your child to brush their teeth completely on their own for 2 full minutes, then do a quick check:
✔️ Back teeth brushed?
✔️ Gums brushed gently?
✔️ Front teeth near the gumline cleaned?
✔️ No rushing through the last 30 seconds?
Many children know how to move a toothbrush, but they still miss important areas. That’s why most kids need brushing supervision until around 7–9 years old.
Think of it as quality control, not punishment. A quick parent check every night can prevent cavities and inflamed gums before they start. 💙
