😳 FROM “IMPACTED” TO FULLY ERUPTED! 🦷❤️
A tooth that once looked almost impossible to save… is now ready for its final alignment.
When this patient first came to us, the lower first molar was severely impacted—trapped beneath the gums with no clear pathway to erupt.
At first glance, extraction might have seemed like the easiest answer.
But we asked a different question:
❤️ “Can we save the natural tooth?”
And this case became a journey of advanced orthodontics, controlled biomechanics, patience, and constant reassessment.

🦷 THE JOURNEY TO SAVE THE TOOTH
This was not a simple orthodontic case.
✅ The lower wisdom tooth was removed to create posterior space.
✅ A Temporary Anchorage Device (TAD) was placed to move the second molar backward.
✅ Four months later, the space was reassessed—but more room was still needed.
✅ The lower second premolar was strategically removed.
✅ A second TAD was placed to help guide the impacted first molar into the dental arch.
Every movement was carefully controlled.
Every stage was reassessed.
Because the goal was never simply to move a tooth.
❤️ The goal was to preserve a natural tooth whenever possible.

And now…
🦷 THE IMPACTED FIRST MOLAR HAS FULLY ERUPTED!
The tooth that was once trapped beneath the gums is now fully erupted and entering the alignment stage of orthodontic treatment. ✨
No implant.
No bridge.
No artificial replacement.
Just the patient’s own natural tooth. ❤️
There is still more work to do—but seeing this tooth finally emerge into the dental arch is an incredibly rewarding milestone.

An impacted tooth does not automatically mean extraction.
Depending on its position, available space, root development, bone and periodontal conditions, some impacted teeth may be guided into the dental arch using advanced orthodontics, TADs and carefully controlled biomechanics.
