The first photo collage demonstrates the before and after dental cleaning pictures of the patient. Due to very poor periodontal attachment, one of the teeth fell off while the patient was rinsing. 😬

Periodontal health (bone and gum health) is also very important because it gives the tooth its foundation and attachment to the bone. This is one of the reasons why we suggest at least 2x a year of oral prophylaxis. For patients with poor oral hygiene and/or poor oral health, we suggest every 3-4 months. ☺️🦷

2023 was a lot of learnings in and out of the clinic. It is also filled with gratitude to all those who trusted us with their dental needs, to those who trusted me with the knowledge that I can share with others, to the people who helped me run the clinic smoothly, and to the people who guided me to be a better professional, dentist and person.
