🦷 Germectomy of Supernumerary Premolar

Patient initially came in for an orthodontic consultation. Upon taking a radiograph, an impacted extra tooth (tooth bud)was discovered beneath the gums.

This is why radiographs are very important—some teeth cannot be seen clinically but may affect future treatment.

The extra tooth was removed through germectomy to create space and prevent interference with orthodontic movement. If left untreated, it may cause crowding, improper alignment, or delay in treatment progress.

Early removal helps ensure a smoother and more effective orthodontic treatment. ✨

Pangilinan Dental Clinic will be CLOSED on May 13–14, 2026 for our annual Summer Outing & Team Building.

Re-treatment Root Canal Treatment – Tooth #11

Upon radiographic evaluation, tooth #11 had a previous root canal treatment. No periapical lesion was observed; however, the patient reported occasional pain and noticeable discoloration.

A one-session root canal re-treatment was performed.

To restore both function and aesthetics, a direct composite veneer/build-up was completed after the treatment, improving the appearance of the tooth.
