Impacted Tooth Removal Prior to Braces

This patient initially came to our clinic for orthodontic treatment.

A panoramic x-ray revealed an impacted tooth #23 and a mesiodens, which could interfere with proper tooth movement during braces treatment.

To ensure a safer and more predictable outcome, surgical removal of the impacted teeth was recommended and successfully performed.

We are now allowing the area to heal before reassessing the patient for orthodontic treatment.

Proper diagnosis and preparation are essential for successful braces treatment.
