Good Evening!

My clinic will be open starting Tomorrow, Dec. 27, 2021. Due to lack of electricity and water supply, my services will be limited to:

-Consultation
-Tooth Extraction (Simple Cases only)
Simple Cases = Mobile Tooth/Teeth(Hingo) or visible root fragments

As for my aunt's clinic, she will not open as there has been some damage to her clinic (waiting area portion)

Since there is no proper system to make appointments, I will be accepting walk-ins.

Clinic hours for the meantime will start from 10am up to 3pm only.

You may reach me through my number: 0917 311 5333 (GLOBE) if you want to schedule an appointment for a specific date.

Thank you and stay safe everyone! 😁

First post for March:

Patient came in complaining of pain in the lower right first molar. 1 month PTC, patient claimed to have accidentaly bit the eye socket of the fish, which caused pain that lasted for more than 10 seconds. The pain did not radiate to any area as she claims. She took Mefenamic Acid 500mg to relieve the pain, and it relieved the pain but it kept on coming back. Upon consulation, tooth was still symptomatic. Upon inspection, the tooth was fractured vertically. I tested the tooth using percussion. And it gave a little discomfort to the patient, indicating that there is some pericapical/bifurcation involvement.

Extraction was then done. A granuloma was found between the bifurcation in the buccal aspect of the tooth. Socket was curetted to check for remnants and the patient was given the proper medications and post-op instructions.

If you have any problems/concerns with your tooth, just leave me a message 😊

Late Post (A Case from 2 Days Ago):

This patient came to my clinic complaining of pain in her upper right first molar. Upon inspection, the tooth had a hole in the palatal root (near the cervical area) which explains the pain and the tooth was mobile due to severe periodontitis in the maxillary and mandibular arches.

First, I performed oral prophylaxis then I went ahead with the extraction. Upon extracting the tooth, a granuloma was found underneath the trifurcation of the root (on the left side), explaining the pain. Then I checked if there was remaining tissue in the socket by using the surgical curette. So far, nothing was left inside. Then I prescribed her medications and gave some post-op instructions so that she can maintain her oral health.

If you have any questions or concerns with your oral health, just send me a message 😁

First post for this page:

Patient came to my clinic complaining of pain in her lower left jaw. Upon inspection, a cavity was present. I recommended the patient to get a periapical radiograph to see underlying tooth structures. Upon seeing the radiograph, the 3rd molar was slightly above the Mandibular Canal (where the Inferior Alveolar Nerve, and blood vessels are located) making this procedure a little bit risky.

Surgical Procedure: Extraction of Tooth #38 Under LA Using 2% Lidocaine w/1:100,000 Epinephrine

The procedure went well, despite it becoming a complicated extraction due to the crown breaking off. Tooth was sectioned using handpiece and a long tapered surgical bur and the roots were removed using elevators. Patient was given proper post-op care and medications after.

Having this kind of problem? Don't hesitate to send me a message 😁
