When caries affects the proximal surfaces of two adjacent anterior teeth, the challenge goes beyond simply restoring the cavity. Conservative caries removal, proper isolation, matrix adaptation, contact management, shade selection, layering, and meticulous finishing and polishing all contribute to a natural-looking result.

For this case, the affected teeth were restored conservatively using direct composite resin, preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible while restoring form, function, contact, and esthetics. 🤍
