FULL DENTURES

Can you really spot the difference if this patient is wearing porcelain teeth or plastic teeth? 🤔 Uhmmmm.. I don't think that you can, specially if you're not a dentist. 😏

What matters to this patient and to his beloved daughters who brought him to me, is that he smiles nicely now with his new set of teeth. Plus, he even attests that these are lighter and more adherent than his previous dentures.

Porcelain teeth have long been the go-to kind of denture pontics back in the old days. But due to their being prone to cracking, breakage, debonding from denture base and their being aggravators to bone loss, most dentists nowadays offer a variety of acrylic (plastic teeth) that can be as aesthetically pleasing but much much more durable than their ceramic counterparts.

So happy to have given him a brighter smile. ☺️🤗

ACRYLIC DENTURES

Patients who come to my clinic are free to choose from an array of removable and fixed denture types after I have fully given them all salient points about "FALSE TEETH 101". Whatever their preferences maybe, whether they wish to avail the latest in the market or perhaps, they are already settled with what they have been accustomed with for many years, then that's the kind of denture that I will deliver them. After all, if the patients come and leave happy then the dentist is happy as well. 🤗🥰
