TADs or temporary anchorage devices in Orthodontics are biocompatible titanium alloy mini-screws inserted into certain places in the mouth to serve as a fixed point that can be used to direct and shift teeth. 🔩🦷
TADs have shown themselves to be a safe, predictable, and effective approach to orthodontic care. In many cases, the use of TADs has allowed many Orthodontists to correct problems that would normally require corrective jaw surgery.
