Tooth #41 was extracted due to advanced periodontitis, which caused chronic swelling, discomfort, and bleeding upon minimal contact. Following healing, a fixed bridge was installed.

Ang Root Canal Treatment ay isang proseso na ginagawa o inirerekomenda ng iyong Dentista kung saan ang ngipin ay matagal nang may bulok, nakaranas ng matinding sakit , may malalim na sira na hindi na kayang pastahan at kung minsan ay may “gum boil” o parang pimple sa ibabaw ng gilagid.
Ang root canal treatment ay hindi nakakatakot kagaya ng sinasabi ng iba, maaring sa iba ay masakit kapag ang ngipin ay “vital” pa, kung kaya nilalagyan ito ng anesthesia bago simulan, at sa iba naman ay “necrotic” patay na ang nerve/ugat kaya wala ng sakit.
Ang root canal treatment ay mabisang alternatibo upang hindi mabunot ang iyong ngipin at inaalis nito ang impeksyon na pwdeng kumalat at makahawa sa ibang ngipin. Ito rin ay cost-effective -matipid sa gastos dahil hindi na kailangan bunutin ang ngipin at palitan ng fixed bridge o pustiso.

Paalala lamang, may mga cases na contraindicated/ hindi na rin kayang isalba ng root canal treatment. Halimbawa, malakas ang pag uga, alam ng iyong dentista na magiging mababa ang success rate, o inaccesible na ang canals kung kayat kailangan kumunsulta muna sa iyong dentista.

There is no such thing as instant result. Even if your progress seems slow, consistent, following your dentist instruction, and proper care (like good oral hygiene) are necessary to ensure the final result is successful.

Here is my Class III Malocclusion Patient.
Alignment and levelling for the first few months, then using Trapeze on upper arch to flare and correct the underbite while using different loops for intruding, extruding and uprighting the lowers.

And if needed, with the elastics👍😊.
