One type of anomaly in a tooth's size is the peg-shaped, which is common in lateral incisors.

Our patient presented with bilateral peg-shaped lateral incisors and wanted to reshape them to look more natural. Teeth 12 and 22 were reshaped with composite restoration.

A child patient presented at the clinic with a fractured tooth 21 due to trauma. The tooth exhibited mobility, but there was no pulp involvement. We stabilized the tooth using a wire splint. The parent was advised to monitor the tooth for any changes. Four months later, upon examination, the tooth remained vital, with no discoloration noted. After months of further observation, tooth 21 was successfully restored with composite restoration.

This case serves as a gentle reminder to take good care of our permanent teeth, as there's no better replacement for our natural teeth! 🦷
