𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘴! Even during the holiday and long weekend, 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝑪𝑭 remains committed to bringing essential health services, information, and education closer to our communities.

For the second weekend of our outreach, our dedicated team visited 𝑩𝒓𝒈𝒚. 𝑩𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒍 𝑺𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒊𝒈𝒖𝒆𝒍, 𝑩𝒓𝒈𝒚. 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒓𝒈𝒚. 𝑵𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒚 to conduct an engaging 𝑨𝒅𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒖𝒎, giving our young people a meaningful opportunity to learn, connect, and become more aware of the importance of taking care of their health.

As of August 27, 2026, the Province of Iloilo has vaccinated 108,873 children aged 6–59 months, achieving 63.17% overall coverage in the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA). 💙

🎉 Congratulations to our LGUs that have achieved the 95% MR-SIA Target!

Today, we celebrate the remarkable achievement of three municipalities that have successfully reached the 95% vaccination coverage target, demonstrating what strong community partnership and committed local leadership can accomplish:

🏆 Guimbal – 98.44% Guimbal Primary Care Facility
🏆 San Enrique – 95.46% San Enrique Primary Care Facility
🏆 Miagao – 95.21% Miagao Rural Health Unit Animal Bite Treatment Center

While we celebrate these successes, more than 63,000 eligible children are still waiting for their MR vaccine. As the campaign enters its final stretch, we encourage every parent and guardian to take advantage of the vaccination teams visiting your barangays. If your child is 6–59 months old, it is not too late to receive their supplemental dose.

💉💚 Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) x PuroKalusugan in Sitio Igtuba, Brgy. Camangahan!

Bringing essential health services closer to our Indigenous Peoples (IP) community through a day of accessible and integrated healthcare services. 🩺💚

Our activities included Measles-Rubella immunization and Vitamin A supplementation for children 6–59 months old, medical consultations and provision of medicines, distribution of preventive oral health kits, and health education on the importance of routine immunization—emphasizing how vaccines protect children from preventable diseases and help keep families and communities safe. 💉👶✨

Guimbal PCF would like to thank the dedicated Barangay Officials, BHWs, and Midwife of Camangahan as well as the residents of Sitio Igtuba for their support and participation.
