🦷 CERAMAGE VENEERS 🦷

Conscious of your tooth gaps but orthodontic treatment is not possible because of advance gum disease and bone loss seen on x-ray? What's next then?

Best treatment would be a periodontal flap surgery followed by bone grafting. However, when a patient is in a hurry and has a limited budget, that also narrows down our options.

Hence, the patient and our team decided to treat his gum disease for the duration of 2 months (deep scaling and root planning with at least 1-2 weeks interval + under medications for the gum disease) before placement of CERAMAGE VENEERS.

CERAMAGE VENEERS is an indirect restoration that exhibit virtually the same light transmission as natural teeth, maintaining a remarkable translucency. It also weigh less compared to a porcelain and ceramic veneers which makes it a better choice for this case.

Had a root canal treated tooth and would like to save the remaining natural tooth structure? Then ONLAY restoration might be the answer!

Tooth cavities are common dental problem and dental fillings are usually the most immediate treatment of choice, especially in the early stages. However, if decays are larger, your regular filling may not work as desired. Thus, us dentists tend to suggest/recommend to go for an inlay, onlay or a crown.

The key difference:
Inlays and Onlays are dental restorations aiming to cover cavities that are too large to cover with a dental filling. They are usually made of porcelain or composite material. Due to the large area that they cover on a tooth surface, as well as the crown-like application process, inlays and onlays are often called partial crowns. Note that these are indirect restorations so we send a copy of your teeth to the laboratory and dental technicians.

Dental Crowns on the other hand, are more than just a repair; they are more of a tooth replacement. The decay is removed and cleaned, then a cap (crown) is placed on the tooth. The entire tooth structure above the gum line is protected by a crown so that no natural tooth is exposed after the treatment. You can find crowns made of various materials such as metals, zirconium porcelain, ceramic, or resin.

In this case, we used Ceramge Onlay. It is a zirconium silicate micro ceramic which creates indirect restorations that exhibit virtually the same light transmission as your natural teeth, maintaining a remarkable translucency.
