🦷 Know the different Types of Dental Abscess for Early Prevention of Heart Problems:

A dental abscess is a localized infection filled with pus, but its location determines the type 👇

1️⃣ Gingival Abscess – infection limited to the gum surface.
🦠 Cause: trapped food or debris.
🔹 No bone loss or deep pocket.

2️⃣ Periodontal Abscess – infection in the supporting structures of the tooth (bone and ligament).
🦠 Cause: untreated gum disease or foreign body.
🔹 Often with pocket formation and tooth mobility.

3️⃣ Periapical Abscess – infection at the tip of the tooth root.
🦠 Cause: deep decay or pulp infection.
🔹 Usually needs root canal or extraction.

💡 Remember:
Any abscess is a sign of infection and needs prompt dental care! Early treatment prevents pain, swelling, and tooth loss.

We would like to inform you that Meridian Dental Clinic will be OPEN until October 31, 2025 (Friday) for half day, and will be CLOSED on November 1, 2025 (Saturday).
We will resume operations on November 4, 2025 (Tuesday) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Please note that we are still available for booking appointments and inquiries during this period.

If you have any dental concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
