Filling discoloration happens overtime but will discolor easily if
*filling is rough
*when your a smoker
*frequent consumption of colored foods & drinks

Not properly polished restorations will irritate your gums & tongue
Due to its rough texture it will easily discolor & allow tooth decay fromation around the filling & will eventually run deep into the tooth causing it to die (tooth necrosis)
