PULP POLYP (Chronic Hyperplastic Pulpitis)

When deep caries is left untreated, the vital pulp tissue may proliferate out as a reddish mass — commonly seen in young patients with good blood supply and open apex teeth.

✔ Usually painless
✔ May bleed on touch
✔ Often asymptomatic

🦷 Early diagnosis saves the tooth.
Timely management with Vital Pulp Therapy, RCT or Extraction (if non-restorable) prevents further complications.

Don’t ignore grossly carious teeth — treat before it progresses.
