🦷 WHY IS IT THAT SOME PATIENTS FINISH SO FAST, WHILE YOUR TEETH CLEANING TAKES LONGER—AND WHY DOES IT HURT? 😬
SIMPLE ANSWER: NOT EVERY PATIENT HAS THE SAME CONDITION.
If someone says, “Naa man koy cleaning, 5 minutes ra nahuman,” it may simply mean they have minimal calculus and a healthy gum condition, so there is no need for extensive cleaning.
But if you have heavy calculus, deposits below the gumline, gum inflammation, or periodontal pockets, your dentist needs more time and effort to properly remove the deposits.
⏱️ Mild case: May be completed relatively quickly.
⏱️ Moderate to severe case: May take 30 minutes or longer, depending on the amount and location of deposits and the patient’s gum condition.
💉 If the area is too sensitive or painful, local anesthesia may be recommended to make deeper cleaning more comfortable. Additional fees may apply.
So please don’t compare your cleaning time or fee with someone else’s. Your teeth and gums have their own condition, and your treatment time should be based on what you actually need. ❤️
