Possible Causes of Swollen Tooth;

1. Dental Abscess - a severe, pocketed bacterial infection in the gum or root of the tooth

2. Gingivitis or Periodontitis - inflammatory gum infection

3. Impacted tooth - a tooth that fails to fully erupt through the gum line, commonly affecting wisdom tooth

4. Tooth trauma or injury - a broken or cracked tooth that is infected

5. Food impaction - food debris stuck between teeth, leading to infection
