We are hiring full-time DENTAL ASSISTANT!

JOB SUMMARY: Dental assistants provide patient care and chair-side support as dentists complete exams and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Chair-side Assistance: Working closely with the dentist by passing instruments, anticipating needs, and keeping the patient's mouth dry and clear using suction.
- Preparation & Sterilization: Setting up treatment rooms and meticulously sterilizing dental instruments to maintain strict infection control.
- Radiology & Diagnostics: Taking dental X-rays and preparing materials for impressions.
- Administrative and Reception Front Desk Duties: Greeting patients, updating medical records, scheduling appointments, and handling billing.

Qualifications:
- Preferably lives nearby to the clinic location / no issues commuting to the clinic Address: Margate Building, Paseo Saturnino, Ma. Luisa Road, Banilad, Cebu City (across Streetscape Mall, beside village entrance of Ma. Luisa subdivision, please search for our exact location on google maps)
- must be available to work full-time 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday, 9:30am-6:30pm with occasional overtime as needed
- can start immediately
- female
- 21-35 years old
- at least high school graduate (those with previous healthcare-related training, education or work experience is a BIG plus. College undergrads are welcome)
- previous work experience as a dental assistant or any healthcare related field is a BIG plus
- willing to be trained as a well-rounded dental assistant-secretary
- pleasing personality with good communication skills, polite and courteous towards patients and fellow staff
- knows how to speak English and Cebuano well, comfortable with front desk role
highly organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, fast learner and mover
- honest and reliable, can work with minimal supervision
- knowledgeable in basic computer operations using Windows OS (familiar with MS Word, MS Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Mail, Netflix, Youtube, Spotify, Internet Browsers)
- must not be afraid/sensitive to see saliva, blood and surgical procedures
willing to observe the prescribed proper hygiene and strict infection control procedures as needed of a healthcare facility
- loves to clean
- with a long-term mindset, willing to work for at least 1 year

We are looking for a compassionate, hardworking, neat and disciplined, detail-oriented individual with good communication skills to join our existing team as one of our dental assistants.

Taking the opportunity to learn from skilled experts and masters of Prosthodontics in the Philippines, Dr. Maybelle recently completed the 3-day seminar and hands-on workshop on Fixed Prosthodontics last November 17-19, 2025 held by the Philippine Prosthodontic Society and hosted by Southwestern University College of Dentistry. It was 3 days of non-stop learning of new concepts, refining of skills, and developing new techniques for crowns, implants and veneers that will surely benefit all our beloved patients at Elate Dental Clinic. Dr. Maybelle has been an associate member of the Philippine Prosthodontic Society since 2018, and always looks forward to the current and future trends in dentistry. Correcting a Discoloration Caused by a Cavity on the Front Tooth ✨

In this case, a patient came to our office bothered by the dark discoloration on her front tooth. We found a cavity that started from in between her teeth, but luckily it did not completely break yet the front enamel of the tooth. The cavity was then cleaned out and replaced with a composite filling to achieve a conservative esthetic outcome.

Just remember, the faster one prioritizes to get a cavity fixed, the better the outcome will be because that would mean there is smaller overall damage to one's tooth. So let's not wait too long to book that next dental visit!
