Tooth decay may appear small from the outside but has a higher chance of it spreading extensively on the inside —in most cases, upto the root canal or pulp where nerve & blood vessels are found.

Go to your dentist regularly & have dental checkups atleast every 6 months. 🦷

Oral Prophylaxis of a patient with periodontitis.
Patient came to clinic with complaint of pain in the first premolars (upper and lower).
Upon checking premolars had 2nd degree mobility caused by occlusal trauma due to absence of mandibular 2nd premolars and molars .
Did some occlusal calibration advised the patient to return for Periodontal treatment and for restoration of some carious

Old restoration of the tooth was dislodged (forgot to take a photo)
Did caries removal, thankfully no pulp exposure
Placed liner then filled the tooth and then viola!
