What is a Turner’s tooth?

Turner’s hypoplasia (or a "Turner's tooth") is a localized developmental defect that typically affects only a permanent tooth. It occurs when an injury or infection in a primary (baby) tooth damages the developing adult tooth bud underneath it. Enamel pitting and irregular grooves develops instead of a single layer of solid enamel.

Sometimes the most meaningful work we do here isn't just about all the treatments we offer, it’s changing how someone feels about coming to the dentist.

For many patients , a visit to the dentist comes with years of anxiety, fear of pain, or the dread of judgment and expenses.

But when we take the time to listen, explain every step, and offer true reassurance, that fear begins to fade.

They might not remember every instrument or the process of their treatments , but they will always remember feeling safe.

Better dentistry goes far beyond any dental treatment available to fix once dental problems, it’s about restoring trust.

If a patient leaves our doors feeling a little more at ease and not afraid anymore, that is a real win.
