This patient wanted to reduce the appearance of a gummy smile, so we performed a gingivectomy to carefully reshape the gum line and reveal more of the natural tooth structure.
For this procedure, we used electrocautery, a technique that uses controlled electrical energy to precisely contour the gums while helping to minimize bleeding. This allows for a cleaner, more precise procedure and supports a comfortable treatment experience.
