Personal life update, my cat of 11 years, Manny, has departed onto the next stage. I got my cat Manny, at around the same time Ho Dental Office started, which was around May 2015. You could say that he was an "Angel Investor" in my dental clinic.😸😇He never stepped foot inside my clinic, but if patients were observant enough, traces of fur can be found around my clothing and belongings. 😸

Fluoride is a mineral that prevents tooth decay. You can get it from drinking tea or coffee, and using Fluoridated toothpaste.
Dentists can apply Fluoride to your teeth via Fluoride varnishes (most effective method) or Fluoride gels/foams.
Contrary to popular belief, Fluoride can be applied whether you are a child or an adult.
Patients with high incidence of tooth decay, or poor hygiene are recommended to receive Fluoride treatment at least once a year.

Adult Orthodontic Patients will usually have less than ideal dental health compared to younger patients. Some teeth will have decay present, and some teeth might be missing too due to previous tooth extraction.

Unopposed tooth can supraerupt, taking up the space left by the opposing tooth. The worse that can happen is a supraerupted tooth biting on the opposing gum area.

This is one of the problems that orthodontics / braces can solve. Once the supraerupted tooth is corrected back to a more normal position, the patient can have a denture made on the opposing side to prevent supraeruption in the future.
