📚🦷 Honoring Our Dental Educators

Today, we celebrate and pay tribute to the dedicated teachers who have shaped not only our knowledge and skills, but also our character and commitment as dental professionals.

To all our dental educators, professors, mentors, and clinical instructors—thank you for sharing your wisdom, patience, passion, and experience. You have inspired generations of dentists to learn with purpose, serve with compassion, and lead with excellence.

Every confident practitioner carries a part of a teacher’s guidance. Every smile we help create is, in many ways, a reflection of the lessons you have imparted.

Happy Teacher's Day! 💜❤️
With heartfelt gratitude and appreciation,
The Philippine Dental Association (PDA) Family 🦷🇵🇭

Prevention is Better than Treatment ❤️

Most parents don't realize their child’s first dental visit should happen much earlier than they think.

According to the American Dental Association (ADA), children should see a dentist when their first tooth appears or by their first birthday—whichever comes first.

Early dental visits help identify potential problems before they become serious, provide guidance on feeding and oral hygiene habits, and help establish a strong foundation for lifelong oral health.

Baby teeth are important. They support chewing, speech development, proper jaw growth, and help maintain space for permanent teeth.

Starting dental care early can help prevent small problems from becoming bigger ones later.
