Yes, cysts and abscess can also accumulate in your oral cavity. Most just disregard those fistula or the so called pimples on their gums, but do you know, those "pimples in the gums" eats the bones of your teeth and causes holes?
To prevent this, you can have your root canal treated to remove the bacteria and inflammation from the infected pulp , but some teeth can no longer be just addressed with it alone and needs adjunct apicoectomy. In this procedure, you remove the infected tissue at the tip of the root via surgery when the infection persists after rootcanal. 🙂
They said oral health care is too expensive. It becomes expensive if it's already on its terminal cases. A simple cleaning makes a big difference. Once you spot a small cavity (a brown spot or even just a chalky one on your tooth), have it filled right a way. Prevention is better than cure. 👌❤
**FYI, the abutment teeth were not done in our clinic, it was done by a previous dentist. We just did the immediate root canal treatment and apicoectomy. After healing, we'll re-prepare the tooth and place new crowns. 🙂
