🦷✨ DENTAL FUN FACT! 👅💕

Did you know that your tongue has a unique pattern—just like your fingerprints? 😮

That means your tongue has its very own little “ID”! 👅🔍
No two tongues are exactly alike. How cool is that? 😜

So while you’re busy brushing those pearly whites, don’t forget your tongue, too! 💗🪥

👶👅 Tongue-Tie in Babies: What Parents Should Know

Tongue-tie, or ankyloglossia, happens when the tissue under the tongue (frenulum) is shorter, tighter, or thicker than usual, which may limit tongue movement.

Some babies with tongue-tie may experience:
🍼 Difficulty latching or breastfeeding
💧 Milk leaking while feeding
👅 Clicking sounds during feeds
⏰ Long or tiring feeds
⚖️ Difficulty gaining weight in some cases

Not every baby with a tongue-tie needs treatment. Proper assessment is important to determine whether the restricted tongue movement is actually affecting feeding or oral function.

💕 If you have concerns about your baby’s feeding or tongue movement, have them assessed by a qualified pediatric dentist.

🦷✨ A little protection goes a long way!

Dental sealants are thin, protective coatings placed on the chewing surfaces of back teeth to help keep food and bacteria out of those deep grooves—helping reduce the risk of cavities. 💙

Perfect for kids and patients who may be more prone to cavities, sealants are quick, painless, and preventive! ✨

Give your little one’s smile an extra layer of protection. 🥰🦷
