Today's Odontectomy case...tooth #38 ( lower left third molar ).

Patient came to our clinic last saturday with throbbing pain coming from her lower third molar. Upon examination, it was found to have an extensive carious lesion due to it's abnormal position, it's hard to reach surface especially when brushing. She was given antibiotics to relieve infection and pain reliver to ease her pain. And now, we just finished the surgical removal of her third molar.
