Prevention is always better than cure 🧚✨✨

Dental Sealant Application is a non-invasive procedure for early prevention for newly erupted posterior teeth - Baby teeth or Permanent Teeth.

A thin layer of dental sealant is applied to smoothen out the grooves and crevices of a tooth to prevent food, plaques or even cavity causing bacteria from being stuck on your teeth. It also helps patients to easily clean then top part of their teeth better.

Controversial take: letting little kids brush their own teeth and calling it done doesn’t count.

Not because they’re not trying.
Because they don’t have the dexterity or the attention span to actually do it well.

Brushing isn’t just moving a toothbrush around for 10 seconds and sucking the toothpaste off 🙄

🪥 It’s getting along the gumline
🪥 It’s reaching the back teeth
🪥 It’s using the right angles to actually remove plaque

That type of proper brushing is NOT a toddler skill.

But we treat it like it is, and then act surprised when cavities show up.

Let them brush first. Go for it.
But if no adult is going back in after, those teeth aren’t actually getting clean.

You can call it independence, but independence doesn’t get teeth clean. Parents do. 🦷

Surgical Removal of an Impacted Supernumerary Tooth (Mesiodens)

A mesiodens is a type of extra tooth located between the two upper front teeth. It is the most common supernumerary tooth and often appears as a small, peg-shaped structure.

Mostly diagnosed by routine check up with x-rays. Surgical removal is done mostly if the tooth is either impacted, causes misalignment or poor esthetic.

Don’t hesitate to have your teeth check! Have a consultation with us! 🦷🪥

Don’t let cavities eat away your tooth out!

Cavities (tooth decay) breaks down your tooth that leads to pain, sensitivity and even tooth loss if left untreated.

Signs of decay, such as white spots & tooth discoloration, can be treated with Composite Restoration, to prevent further damage of your tooth and to build the tooth back to its normal structure and function
