✔️CASE ON POINT:

🟪Our patient wants a more fixed solution to his upper dentures. The main concern is he does not want a removable denture because he is not comfortable with it. It was suggested to our patient to consider a Dental Implant Supported Denture (All on 4 Concept). The patient agreed, the treatment was carefully planned (i.e. position of dental implants relative to the available bone) using scanning and CBCT. The surgery was executed using a surgical guide for precise Dental Implants placement. Four (4) Dental Implants were placed simultaneously using the surgical guide. Since the bone is a bit soft, the dental implants were placed and is allowed to integrate (osseointegration) with the bone for six (6) months.

An alternative solution to problems related to a gum supported denture is a DENTAL IMPLANT SUPPORTED DENTURE. Instead of relying on residual gums to support the denture, it will be anchored on dental implants embedded on bone. The results look and feel more natural, no palatal coverage, and more retentive compared to a gum-supported dentures.
