🇳🇱 A new group of dentists, a new start in Westerbork! 🦷✨

Back in August, our new group started learning Dutch with BGB. After 10 weeks of online lessons, it’s time for the next step: continuing their language journey together at our BGB Academy in Westerbork! 🇳🇱

The focus now? Improving their Dutch, preparing for the B2+ exam, and getting one step closer to working as dentists in the Netherlands. 💪

We’re happy to have you here, and we wish you all the best for the next weeks! 🍀

🇳🇱 Dutch Survival Card is back!

Some Dutch words are easy to translate… and some are a little harder. 😄

Save these useful words for your Dutch vocabulary:
🙏 Pardon = Excuse me

😊 Gezellig = Cozy / nice / a lovely atmosphere

☀️ Fijne dag = Have a nice day

🥂 Proost = Cheers!

And then there’s “gezellig” — one of those typically Dutch words you’ll hear a lot. It can describe a cozy evening with friends, a nice atmosphere, or simply spending good time together. There’s no perfect English translation, but you’ll know it when you experience it! 🇳🇱💙

At BGB Dentistry, we know that learning Dutch is about more than just passing an exam. It’s also about feeling comfortable in your new life, at work and outside the clinic.

💙 Save this post and stay tuned for the next Dutch Survival Card!

Meet Anaïs! ✨
Anaïs has been living in the Netherlands for two and a half years and is now fully settled in a small village near Leeuwarden.
She moved here with her two children, who—as children somehow always manage to do—learned Dutch in no time! 🇳🇱

In her free time, Anaïs loves staying active, especially sailing and kitesurfing. She feels so at home in her new village that she and her partner are already looking for a house to buy there. 🏡

Another beautiful story of building a new life in the Netherlands and thriving as a dentist, a mum and a true superwoman. 💪💙
