Dear Past Year,
I write this with a heart full of gratitude. It was an intense year in every sense — highs and lows — but we made it through.

Last week I attended the conference on orthognathic surgery and orthodontics BSSO ✨ Did you know that starting orthodontic treatment early can help prevent the need for jaw surgery later in life?

Orthognathic surgery is often required when skeletal issues—like severe overbites, underbites, or jaw asymmetries—go untreated during childhood or adolescence. But with early intervention, we can guide jaw growth, correct harmful habits, and create space for proper tooth alignment—all before these problems become more complex.

It's a meme, but it's pure reality! Who never huh!? 😂

If something happens to your aligners, such as losing them or being eaten by your pet, the first step is to let your orthodontist know - in your case, let me know! I am the professional responsible for your case and will be able to give you the first directions!

Remember: while you are not using the aligners, always keep them in their case! There is the safest and most hygienic place for them! 😉

I am honored to share that I became an Invisalign Diamond provider officially in December 2022. 💎

This week I received the recognition plate, and I could not come here to share this recognition and thank all my patients for their trust in my work. 🫶🏼✨

I love what I do, and it is possible because you choose me to improve your mouth, health, and smile with me. 🥰

If you are asking what it means, do not worry, I will explain. Invisalign has an award system it uses to highlight those orthodontists who are experts in using their system. 🦷

Diamond status is achieved when the orthodontist completes roughly 280 to 399 Invisalign patient cases annually. 👩🏽‍⚕️

Currently, I am a Diamond II provider. This has included providing Invisalign treatment for adults, teens, and kids. 🎉

Put simply, this is the highest honor that Invisalign doles out, and giving this elite designation to a specific orthodontist’s office is a reward for performing the best in terms of treating happy customers with these braces alternatives. 🏆

There are thousands of Invisalign providers in Europe. Still, only a tiny fraction of those perform well enough to be named a Diamond provider. 🏅

Steps toward your child’s new smile 👦🏻👧🏻

🦷 Assess
Complete a Smile Assessment for your child to determine whether they may be eligible for treatment. After that, you can easily arrange to meet me for an appointment for an initial consultation

🦷Consult
Your child's first visit will be an amazing experience! A digital consultation where, after scanning the teeth (yes! your son will no longer need to undergo molding like in the old days) we will show you a simulation of the results that can be achieved with the treatment.

🦷 Treat
Your child's custom-made aligners will be delivered for their first fitting. They will then receive a series of aligners to wear daily and changing at home every 1-2 weeks or so.

🦷 Monitor
Your child will also continue to receive personalized care with visits every 6-8 weeks, to check on progress and receive new aligners.

🦷 Maintain
Your child's smile will be transformed, and now it's easier to maintain. Vivera™️ retainers are based on each patient's gum line to provide optimal comfort and aesthetics.

FAQ with the Ortho

How long will I have to wear my Vivera™️ retainers?

After finishing your Invisalign treatment, I will give you specific instructions on how often you need to wear your retainers.

✨ Typically, you wear your first set full time, then based on your case I will give you the best recommendation, you may gradually reduce how long you wear them until you only wear them at night.
