Toothache is pain that you feel in and around your tooth. This pain can range from being mild to a largely unbearable pain depending on the cause.

Toothache is usually caused by diseases and conditions that affect the dental and oral structures with the commonest causes being Dental Caries and periodontal diseases.

These common oral diseases are usually preventable and their early stages usually go unnoticed except the oral cavity is checked by a dentist.

The best way to prevent toothache is to keep a good oral hygiene which is achieved by

* your teeth with a medium strength toothbrush and a fluoride containing toothpaste TWICE A DAY*

* dental flossing of teeth*

* frequent consumption of sugary substances*

* your dental doctor TWICE A YEAR for check up.*

*Have you had your oral cavity /mouth checked by a dentist in the last six months? The time to visit your dentist is now!!!*
