Over the years, I have always been passionate about promoting good dental health. I have always believed that dental care should not only happen inside the clinic because it’s not well talked about like other aspect of health. It’s overlooked, and the need for its care is underestimated by many people. This is why I love visiting schools, public places, communities, and other places where I can educate people about taking care of their mouth and the structures therein.
I have also always wanted to make Gateway Dental Care better in terms of the quality of service we provide. Sometimes, I imagine having a very big and well-equipped dental facility where we can attend to patients faster and provide even better care.
I have wished for someone who would believe in this dream and support me in making it happen. But since that support has not come, I have decided to keep building brick by brick with whatever resources I have.
Recently, we started seeing more patients coming to the clinic in numbers. Sometimes, an entire family of 3, 4 or even 5 people will come for treatment.
While this is something I am very happy about because it shows that people trust us and they are willing to patronize me, I noticed that attending to several people from the same family could take quite a long time since we only have two dental chairs.
Some patients would leave and reschedule their appointments because they couldn't wait that long, especially when the case wasn't an emergency.
Honestly, this didn't sit well with me.
I started thinking about what we could do to improve things.
So, I decided to invest more into the practice. I saved up.
We have now purchased two brand-new dental chairs, bringing the total number of dental chairs in our facility to four(4). 🦷🎉
Thankfully, we have enough space to accommodate them.
This is not just about buying new chairs. It is about making sure we can attend to more patients, reduce waiting time, improve our service, and give everyone a better experience whenever they visit us.
We may not have the biggest or most sophisticated dental facility yet, but we are building towards it.
Brick by brick. Step by step.
My goal remains simple: to provide quality and professional dental care without compromising standards.
