Toothache that comes and goes? It could be more than just a cavity‼️

Inside every tooth is a soft area called the pulp (nerve). When bacteria reach it, it becomes inflamed, this is called pulpitis, and it may cause sharp or sensitive tooth pain.

If left untreated, the nerve can die and the infection may spread, forming a dental abscess (pus at the root of the tooth). Even after a long time, like 1 year, it can still be present without obvious pain.

⚠️ Possible signs:
• Gum or facial swelling
• Bad taste or smell
• Pain when biting
• Pimple-like bump on gum

If you’ve been having on-and-off tooth pain or notice swelling, don’t wait too long, get it checked early. Your tooth may still be saveable!💙
