Patients often ask about the difference between zirconia crowns and porcelain fused metal (PFM) crowns.

The before and after pictures show the difference clearly.

This patient had been wearing a PFM bridge for 15 years. Recently, it chipped, exposing the metal underneath.

Once a PFM crown chips, the metal surface becomes visible.

The patient came to us to replace the bridge. We advised replacing it with zirconia.

The final result shows better colour matching with zirconia. It looks more natural, like real teeth.

Zirconia also does not have the same chipping issue as PFM crowns.Visit us to find out more about your options.

Don’t wait until the pain becomes severe. Regular dental check ups every six months are essential for maintaining good oral health.

The patient presented with significant pain caused by an impacted wisdom tooth, which led to food impaction and deep caries in the adjacent tooth. Root canal treatment was performed first to manage the affected neighbouring tooth, followed by minor oral surgery to remove the impacted wisdom tooth.

At the one week review, the patient reported complete relief from pain.🙏🏻
