This patient came in with severe toothache on both sides of his jaw.

On 1 side, his wisdom tooth had a huge decay. On the other side, the 2nd molar adjacent to the wisdom tooth was already damaged badly!

You should remove your wisdom teeth if there is:
1) An infection of the surrounding gum tissue
2) Risk of damage to the neighbouring 2nd molar
3) Decay to the wisdom tooth itself
4) Cyst or tumour formation within the jawbone
