This patient had a mucocele—a fluid-filled swelling caused by trauma or blockage of a minor salivary gland, most commonly on the lower lip.

Although usually benign, a mucocele can:
• Keep coming back after bursting
• Cause discomfort while eating or speaking
• Continue to enlarge over time

✨ Treatment: A simple procedure under local anaesthesia to remove the mucocele together with the affected salivary gland helps minimize recurrence.

This lady came to us with complaint of long-lasting tooth pain. Upon examination, a split molar was found, with fracture extended to the bone level which necessitates removal of the tooth.

After 6 months of complete tissue healing, painless regular implant placement was done along with crestal sinus lift and horizontal bone grafting. Crown was fixed onto the implant fixture after 3 months.

Review after 1 year shows excellent clinical result, with no bone loss at the grafted region and around implant.

Patient's 2nd molar was destroyed by caries due to the adjacent impacted wisdom tooth, unsalvageable and had to be removed.

Implant placement was done after complete soft and hard tissue healing.
